ASE dropped after four upward sessions
In negative territory, after four consecutive upward sessions, ended the General Index of Athens Stock Exchange.
Marginally in positive territory, having fluctuated around 9.5 points (5.49%) ended the banking index while the only shares that ended with gains were Alpha Bank, Eurobank and Cyprus Popular Bank.
NBG, despite the intraday climb up to 3.00%, failed remain above 1.00 euro.
From FTSE20 index Ellaktor rise stood out closing at day’s high, while upwards moved FF Group as well.
At the other hand Mytilineos, Titan, Coca-Cola Hellenic and Jumbo declined including OTE, PPC and Motor Oil.
The General Index, was moving into negative territory throughout the transactions dropping up to 2.08% and ended at 489.35 down 1, 42%.
The banking index which rebounded from a 3.20% decline for intraday was climbing 2.29% and finished with marginal gains of 0.10% at 172.58 points.
On Tuesday the trading volume reached 24.29 million units worth 22.4 million shares, while 65 declined, 55 supported and 155 remained unchanged.
