Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL), which said in April said it would buy a Pennsylvania refinery, expects its sales of jet fuel to create downward pricing pressure, Bloomberg News reported Friday.
Chief Executive Richard Anderson said "it's our intention to begin to participate in the pricing function," Bloomberg reported.
Delta said April 30 that it expected to save $300 million annually on fuel costs through the purchase of the Trainer refinery complex.
