Intracom Gets $ 55.7 Mil. Contract By Raytheon

Greek Intracom Defense Electronics has been selected by Raytheon Company as a supplier in the frame of the United Arab Emirates Patriot program, an official announcement said Tuesday.

The $ 55.7 mil NTE contract with Raytheon concerns the manufacturing of subsystems for the latest version of the launchers of the combat-proven Patriot air and missile defense systems.

Intracom Defense Electronics said that it will allocate  a significant part of the project to other Greek companies.

The above said project will be completed in 3.5 years.

Mr. Joseph "Skip" Garrett, Vice President and Deputy for Patriot Programs at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) stated: "Raytheon is pleased to have Intracom Defense Electronics΄ join us once again in the manufacture of key components for the Patriot air and missile defense system.
