ATHEX Moves Above 2,700 |

The Greek market is registering signs of increased volatility on Monday as the basic index is moving above 2,700.
In line with foreign bourses, the Greek market is expanding its gains from the previous week while sentiment is affected by Alpha Bank´s 9M results as well as the placement for 9 mil. stocks. The basic index stands at 2720,3, up 0.70% while 88 stocks rise against 41 dropping on a total turnover of 73 mil. euro. The banking index erased part of its earlier gains (+1.74%), dropping 0.45% while it now advances 0.31% with Alpha Bank and Bank of Greece (-0.26%) being its only composites with negative signs. Aspis Bank (+5.31%) and ATEBank (up to 1.93%) stand out. |
