Worldwide Natural Resources To Acquire SA Manganese Operations

LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Worldwide Natural Resources PLC (WNR.LN) said Thursday it has entered into a call option agreement with private company Creative Line Holdings Ltd, Hong Kong, to acquire its manganese core operations located in the Cape Province, Republic of South Africa.

MAIN FACTS:

-Operations located adjacent to those areas being mined by Samancor, jointly owned by BHP Billiton (BBL) and Anglo American Corporation (AAU.K.Y) of South Africa.

-Due diligence has already started.
